Apex Joins US Futsal Federation

As of last week, Apex Soccer became the official representative of the US Futsal Federation for Cary, NC.
After looking for futsal representation from North Carolina for some time, USFF President Alex Para, decided to bring Apex Soccer into the Federation to represent the state.
The partnership will include mutual support for both organizations. The USFF will assist in clinics, tournaments, establishing leagues, as well as offering coaching and referee certifications. The Federation also brings numerous international contacts to the table.
In return, Apex Soccer will represent North Carolina in national competition, host regional qualification tournaments in the future, and continue to promote the game throughout the state.
As a result of the recent entry into the USFF, Apex Soccer has been invited to place one team in the 2009 US Futsal National Championships, which take place in Baltimore, MD on July 9-12. Apex Soccer will be assembling a team of U14 boys based on current participation and will train through June and July in preparation for the tournament.
"These players train like professionals, and they are learning to transfer that training into the game now,” said Technical Director Anatoliy Dmitriakov. “I hope to have a group of players who are capable of playing like professionals in July at the Futsal Nationals in Baltimore.”
Said Executive Director Rob Andrews, “We are excited with the potential opportunities being associated with the USFF will bring us. Through the establishment of sanctioned leagues and tournaments as well as certification of our coaches and referees, the Federation will be a great asset to Apex Futsal going forward. In exchange we hope to be the dominant force in combining an elite futsal training club supplement with competitive leagues in the winter and summer, producing excellent American futsal players who can one day be an asset to the US National Team."
